THE WORLD'S MOST RESPONSIBLE EEL FARM IS LOCATED IN DENMARK
 

Royal Danish Fish has one of the world's largest and most responsible onshore aquaculture facilities for raising eels. The plant is the first one in the world that has been approved and certified according to the International Sustainable Eel Standard, which has the strictest certification requirements in the entire fishing industry.

AQUACULTURE

The Aquaculture is among the world’s largest recirculating land-based aquaculture plants. At present, the company consists of the main department in Hanstholm and a breeding department in Kærbæk, Grindsted.

WEST AFRICAN FISH, GHANA

In 2008, West African Fish ltd. was founded as a joint venture between Palm Acres ltd. and Royal Danish Fish Group A/S from Denmark. The aim of the co-operation was to create an aqua cultural farm, producing fresh tilapia of the highest quality possible, and doing so at the most environmentally friendly farm in Africa.

KABAYAKI, OUR SPECIALITY

Kabayaki and Shirayaki are also some of our specialties. We are the only company in Europe, producing kabayaki and Shirayaki in a large scale, for the European market. Our knowledge of these specialties comes from our close cooperation with Japanese companies.
